I love these noodles! I was incredibly disappointed to see how low they ranked here. In complete fairness, if you aren't expecting the flavor it will take you by surprise. It is not your traditional jjajangmyeon flavor. Chapagetti is a staple in many Korean households as its own flavor profile. It has a very deep and savory flavor with the classic nongshim bouncy noodle texture. People say it has a bit of a bitter taste, but I find that that isn't completely accurate. It's rich and deep in the way that many black bean or other bean flavors are. Honestly, for people who have never tried Chapagetti and are unfamiliar with black bean, I would try and approach this noodle with more of a "miso soup" flavor mindset. I hope people give Chapagetti another try. I find it's the absolute best instant noodle to mix with another noodle, especially another Korean spicy one. The classic mix is Chapagetti and Neoguri, but I find it also pairs amazing with Nongshim Shin or Buldak Original or Buldak Carbo.
