🍜Review for Indomie • Mi Goreng Fried Noodles
This one may feel more controversial, but I don't love this noodle! The noodles are very pleasant and thin. They snap nicely if cooked correctly, and if overcooked they're still just soft and gentle. It has a light, savory flavor that is pretty yummy, but it always feels like it needs something. This noodle can't stand on its own which is unfortunate. Typically with instant noodles things like extra toppings, meat, cheese, added veggies, egg, chili crisp, etc is all a fun bonus or something to take something good to the next level. But if I make these noodles, I do not enjoy it without extras. It constantly feels like it's missing something. This noodle is really delicious once it's loaded up with chili crisp, a fried egg, some dumplings or meat! Then it gets another star. But I think if a noodle needs that to be good, maybe it wasn't that great to begin with.
